"You're a Forester! Lucky old you..."
'38 Questions' is an intergenerational project run by the Forester's Forest Landscape Partnership. As the Community Podcast Creator I joined the Wyldwood team as they visited Forest of Dean primary schools and residential care homes. There, I encouraged and recorded conversations between the care home residents and the school children and edited the results into a podcast.
We captured some brilliant moments.
One of the residents described going down into the mines with his dad, and feeling the wax from his candle drip down his arm as he explored.
A pupil from Lydbrook School told us all about coming across a wild boar fighting with a pig in the forest.
And the pupils wrote inspired letters and love songs to the Forest of Dean.
